About Us .
INTEAS is an international and independent body in Chicago, Illinois, USA, that examines and evaluates higher education institutions from every country to promote sound education and good business practices. It is an independent, private, and international organization funded through fees for its accreditation services to Higher Education Institutions, Certification Bodies, E-Learning Management System Providers, and Training Organizations. We use our expertise to support the development of quality assurance systems worldwide. As the accrediting agency has grown in size and complexity, the quality assurance systems have evolved, and progressively, tasks are articulated and delegated with official certifications. INTEAS accreditation status signifies your institution’s commitment to quality education which complies with international standards. Accreditation enriches your university’s profile on an international level, resulting in high student admissions and retention percentages. Through our accreditation you may offer dual degree programs through our accredited institution, equivalency, and legalization services to your students. Besides, its accreditation will allow you to publicize your institution on our website.
INTEAS will grant recognition and warranty to all the institutions or persons that meet INTEAS standards through a voluntary, non-governmental guided accreditation and certification.
In addition, it includes in its mission the offer of consulting associated with continuous improvement processes with or without accreditation purposes and the development of studies related to periodic updates of criteria and procedures for self-evaluation and accreditation and the training of academics and professionals in related subjects to the accreditation processes.

Quality Assurance
INTEAS stresses out overall acceptance of “excellence”. Few if any institutions, including those widely considered to be world leaders in management education, would receive top scores in every individual area of assessment. What is important is the overall assessment. Each INTEAS peer review team makes an overall assessment from the data provided in the Self-Assessment Report and its own on-site observations.
INTEAS is certified to ISO/IEC 27001, an internationally valid standard that defines the requirements for an information security management system, especially information security management for employees, processes, IT systems, and company strategy. ISO 27001 confirms the establishment of a systematic approach, brings greater security and reduces the risk of leakage of sensitive information.
INTEAS holds ISO 9001 certification for the organization’s quality management system, bringing increased credibility through a raised quality management system. The system helps to improve the organization of work, streamline management methods and documentation management and overall increase the satisfaction of customers and employees of the organization.
The International Standard ISO 21001:2018 describes the requirements for an Educational Organisation Management System (EOMS) and highlights the most important asset of your educational institution – education delivery. ISO 21001 focuses on learners’ actual learning needs and requirements, the development of appropriate content and offerings, and the evaluation of outcomes. ISO 21001:2018 was issued by ISO in May 2018 and replaced the previous standard Learning services for non-formal education and training ISO 29990:2010, which INTEAS also held in the past.
ISO 21001 is based on Quality Management Systems ISO 9001. Still, it provides a specific framework for educational organizations that aim to enhance the satisfaction of their learners by improving the educational processes and ensuring conformity to learners’ requirements, so integrating ISO 9001 and ISO 21001 will be stronger and more efficient in educational organizations.
