Welcome to INTEAS, a globally recognized and esteemed accreditation body based in Chicago, Illinois, USA. As an international and independent organization, we are committed to promoting excellence in higher education institutions worldwide by examining and evaluating their quality and business practices.

Our accreditation services are available to Higher Education Institutions, Certification Bodies, E-Learning Management System Providers, and Training Organizations. As a private and independent body, we are funded through fees for our accreditation services, allowing us to maintain our integrity and impartiality in evaluating institutions.

With our extensive expertise, we support the development of quality assurance systems globally. Over the years, as INTEAS has grown in size and complexity, our quality assurance systems have evolved, resulting in official certifications and delegated tasks. Achieving INTEAS accreditation signifies your institution’s unwavering commitment to providing quality education that complies with international standards.

INTEAS accreditation elevates your institution’s profile on an international level, leading to increased student admissions and higher retention rates. As an accredited institution, you can also offer dual degree programs, equivalency, and legalization services to your students, further enhancing their educational opportunities.

In addition to accreditation, INTEAS also provides consulting services for continuous improvement processes, whether or not accreditation is the goal. We also conduct studies related to periodic updates of criteria and procedures for self-evaluation and accreditation, and offer training to academics and professionals in subjects related to accreditation processes.

INTEAS

Quality Assurance

INTEAS emphasizes the acceptance of “excellence” overall. Even esteemed institutions in management education rarely achieve top scores in every individual assessment area. What matters is the comprehensive assessment, which INTEAS peer review teams conduct using data from Self-Assessment Reports and on-site observations. Join us in promoting worldwide importance and quality through INTEAS accreditations and certifications for higher and lower education institutions.

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management in an educational institution

INTEAS holds ISO 9001 certification for the organization’s quality management system, bringing increased credibility through a raised quality management system. The system helps to improve the organization of work, streamline management methods and documentation management and overall increase the satisfaction of customers and employees of the organization.

ISO 21001:2018 – Educational organizations

The International Standard ISO 21001:2018 describes the requirements for an Educational Organisation Management System (EOMS) and highlights the most important asset of your educational institution – education delivery. ISO 21001 focuses on learners’ actual learning needs and requirements, the development of appropriate content and offerings, and the evaluation of outcomes. ISO 21001:2018 was issued by ISO in May 2018 and replaced the previous standard Learning services for non-formal education and training ISO 29990:2010, which INTEAS also held in the past.

ISO 21001 is based on Quality Management Systems ISO 9001. Still, it provides a specific framework for educational organizations that aim to enhance the satisfaction of their learners by improving the educational processes and ensuring conformity to learners’ requirements, so integrating ISO 9001 and ISO 21001 will be stronger and more efficient in educational organizations.

Evaluation Of International Quality Standards

Evaluating international quality standards is paramount for institutions seeking excellence. INTEAS offers comprehensive assessments, leveraging Self-Assessment Reports and on-site observations by peer review teams. Join us in promoting worldwide recognition of quality in education through our accreditations and certifications.

International Standards of Accreditation Quality

  • The institution’s strategy is focused and differentiated, with verifiable objectives aligned with its mission, vision, and values.
  • The institution conducts quality research (in relevant institutions only) that supports cutting-edge knowledge transfer activities, in alignment with its mission, vision, and values.
  • The institution has robust quality assurance processes in place, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • The institution upholds responsible practices through education, research, and institutional behavior, demonstrating a commitment to global standards of excellence.

Customer Evaluation and Market Relevance

  • The institution provides high-quality program design, content, and delivery, utilizing effective teaching and learning processes that support students and participants, all aligned with its mission, vision, and values.
  • The institution has appropriate and effective governance, including leadership, management, and decision-making structures, all aligned with its mission, vision, and values.

Note: INTEAS stresses the overall acceptance of “excellence” and recognizes that few if any institutions, including those widely considered to be world leaders in management education, would receive top scores in every individual area of assessment. What is important is the overall assessment. Each INTEAS Certification peer review team makes an overall assessment from the data provided in the Self-Assessment Report and its own on-site observations.
